About the roles

These roles will see you working directly with the Director / Project team to manage and deliver commercial office and retail fitouts across the Brisbane and Gold Coast regions. Managing a number of projects at any one time that range from low value maintenance works through to higher value entire floor fitouts.   Your time will be split between on-site works (various locations) and project administration in the office (Bowen Hills) which may include some weekend work from time to time depending upon project requirements.

These positions are not just ‘managing’ people or projects from a high level.  You will take full ownership and responsibility for the start up, delivery and handover of the entire project.  This includes;  ordering materials (pick up may be required from time to time), project take-offs, scheduling trades across various projects, preparing programs and site folders, site meetings with clients and trades, managing site foreman and subcontractors, contract administration, managing variations, budgets and client expectations, basically ensuring the project scope is completed to a high quality and delivered before handover.

The roles at times can be demanding and may not be for everyone.

However, with a strong pipeline of work and repeat clients, this is a great opportunity to advance your career in the commercial fitout industry and for the right person, this role may naturally lead into a higher positions.  Timing of this will depend on your experience, ability to learn, taking initiative and ownership of projects and at Management discretion.


  • Knowledge, practical understanding and direct experience within the commercial fitout sector.
  • Minimum 1-5 years experience in any fitout / construction or related similar positions.  On-site experience (trade background) is highly regarded.
  • As a Future Fitouts team member, you will take ownership and pride in your work, deliver consistent results, have respect for yourself and others and be a team player.
  • Future Fitouts has very high expectations of all our people and a personality fit is essential to the role.
